1. GENERAL
1.1 Applications
The essential function of these control boxes is to ensure the
management of one or two submersible pumps by using information
supplied by one or more level detectors. They also provide
protection against overcurrents, thermal overloads and dry operation.

2. SAFETY
This manual must be read carefully before proceeding with
installation and commissioning. In particular, care must be taken to
comply with the points concerning the safety of the equipment with
respect to intermediate or end users.

complied with in order to avoid the risk of
damaging the equipment and adversely affecting its operation.

3. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

As soon as the equipment is received, check that it has not been
damaged during transport. If any defect is noted, all the necessary
steps must be taken with regard to the carrier.
If the equipment delivered is to be installed some
CAUTION
time later, store it in a dry place and protect it
against impacts and all external effects (humidity, freezing
conditions, etc.).
This equipment must be handled with care.

5 INSTALLATION
5.1 Premises
The control box must be installed in easily accessible premises with
normal ventilation and protected from the frost.
5.2 Fitting
The control box can be attached to a boom or against a wall using
the offset mounting lugs supplied.
5.3 Electrical connection
Electrical connections and checks must be made by an
approved electrician in compliance with the applicable local
standards.
5.3.1 Fuse
Choice of voltage (See FIG. 3 or 4 - item 5)
Position the fuse (supplied) according to the power supply network
(230 or 400 V). By default, the fuse is set in the 400 V position.
Short circuit protection
By default, the control box is supplied in a 3-phase configuration (with
one fuse in each fuse holder recess). Replacement fuses are supplied
with the manual.
Important: For single-phase applications, remove the fuse from
the compartment marked "a" on the fuse holder block (See FIG. 3 or
4 - item 8).
5.3.2 Pump
Connect the pump power supply cable to the thermal relay terminal
blocks (See FIG. 3 or 4 - item 7) as shown in the diagram (See FIG. 8).
General applications for a version not referenced in diagram.
• Single-phase:
Case of pump with integrated capacitor.
Terminals 2 (T1) and 6 (T3) of the thermal relay. Do not forget to add
a shunt between terminal 4 (T2) on the thermal relay and terminal 5
(L3) on its support.
Case of a capacitor separated from motor (to be integrated in
control box).
Terminals 2 (T1), 4 (T2) and 6 (T3) of the thermal relay.
Terminal 2 => common
Terminal 4 => main phase
Terminal 6 => auxiliary phase
• 3-phase:
- Terminals 2 (T1), 4 (T2) and 6 (T3) of the thermal relay.
In the two-pump version, make sure that the pumps are
CAUTION
connected in a similar manner (important for the
direction of rotation).
Do not forget to connect the earth.
5.3.3 Capacitor
Mount the capacitor in the location reserved for it (See FIG. 3 or 4 -
item 9) using the built-in support.
Its terminals must be connected to terminals T2 and T3 of the
corresponding contactor (See FIG. 3 or 4 - item 6).
Connect the assembly as shown in the diagram (See FIG. 9).
Note: A passage must be cleared through the stuffing boxes in order
to feed through the cables.
5.3.4 Level detector
In the case where flux are used: connect up as shown in the
screen printing on the side of the connecting terminal block
