10.6 Emergency opening

In the event of malfunctions, emergency opening can take place via the single profile cylinder.
This activity is logged in the results log.
The single profile cylinder may only be used for emergency opening.
• Be sure to remove the key for the single profile cylinder after emergency opening.
• Keep the key for the single profile cylinder in a safe place.
1. DT 700c: Remove the exterior module cover by
hand.
1. DT 710c: Carefully lift off the external module
cover using a screwdriver.
4. Open the door in the opening direction using
the lever handle.

2. Insert a suitable key into the locking cylinder.
3. Turn the key in the opening direction until the
latchbolt is retracted. Hold the key in this
position.

5. Remove the key and keep it in a safe place.
