Instruction for work
Transforming the swather into working position
–
Set the declinatory tube (3) into vertical position
(B).
–
Switch on the twoway-working cylinder hydraulics
to lower the rotors to the holder's restriction;
–
Switch on the oneway-working cylinder hydraulics
for a moment and lift the rotors, remove the stops
of the rotor holder and continue lowering the rotors
to the ground.
Transforming the swather into lowered transport
position
–
Set the outer four spring tines arms into transport
position;
–
Set the guard rail into transport position;
–
Lift the rotors with the oneway-working cylinder
hydraulics;
–
Pull the string to lift the stop of the rotor holder and
continue until the stop is locked in transport
position (1) and release the pressure in the
hydraulic system;
–
Switch on the twoway-working cylinder hydraulics
to lower the rotors to the holder's restriction;
–
Set the declinatory tube (3) into inclined position
(A).
Transforming the swather into working position

–
Set the guard rail into working position;
–
Set the spring tines arms into working position.
–
Adjust the speed of rotor lowering with
stifler.
–
Adapt the hydraulic oil flow of the
tractor to the lowering of the swather's
rotors.
3.7 Working with the swather
Only one middle double-swath can be made with the
swather.

–
It is forbidden to stay in the working
area of the machine.
–
Protections must be in protective
position.
–
It is forbidden to come close to rotating
tines, danger of stroke and spring leg
stitch.
–
When preparing the swather pay extra
attention that all tines arms are secured
with pins to prevent the throw out when
the rotor works.
–
It is forbidden to climb on the machine
while working.
–
Adapt the drive speed to ground
conditions, especially in inclination and
curves.
–
Working in retroactive driving is
forbidden. Danger of breaking the rotor
chassis!
–
Set the declinatory tube into vertical position.
–
Set the swather from transport position into
working position.
–
Adapt the swathing width to the fodder quantity.
–
Check the P.T.O. shaft rotation 540 rpm.
–
Optimal P.T.O. shaft rotation is 400 -
500 rpm.
–
For good swather work check all
recommanded basic and curve
adjustments.
3.7.1 Crossing the swaths
Crossing of swaths is done from tractor's seat during
the drive with lifted and driven rotors. Only oneway-
working pull-cylinder hydraulics up to the top rotor
lifting is used.
