Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning/Disinfecting Instructions
After each patient use, follow the combined cleaning/
disinfecting instructions provided below for the
Handheld Monitor. If the Handheld Monitor was
contaminated with blood or body fluids during use,
you must follow the intermediate level instructions. If
the Handheld Monitor was not contaminated with
blood or body fluids, follow the low level instructions.
8.2 Intermediate Level Combined
Cleaning/Disinfecting Instructions

After each patient use, power off and unplug all
electric connections.
•
Place Handheld Monitor on a clean, dry,
disinfected or sterile basin or surface.

Hysteroscope should be opened for
cleaning or disinfecting.
CAUTION:
disinfection process, orient the connector in a
manner that prevents liquid from entering the
electrical connection area of the connector
(e.g., with the opening to the electrical
connections facing upward). Do not wet the
opening or inside of connector housing the
electrical connection components.
CAUTION:
LCD screen of the Handheld Monitor, pay
careful attention to the seams around the
edge of the display and the back of the screen
where it attaches to the grip. When cleaning
the grip section, pay careful attention to the
seams around the edge of the button panels
and labels.
