Adjusting transmission chains
To adjust (tension) the chains, follow the instructions below with
reference to the figure:
Remove the side guards;

Slacken the screw holding the idler gear tensioning the
•
chain;
Move the idler gear in the direction of the arrow until the
•
chain is tensioned;
Fasten it in place by tightening the screw.
•
Fix the side guards.
•
This operation must be performed on both sides

Replacing the flaps
After removing the debris collection bin (and batteries in the case of
the electricmodel), raise the machine as described in chapter 5 to
bring it into a vertical position.

Replace the flaps:
Raise the machine into a vertical position;

Lateral flaps and fixed rear flap:

Unscrew the screws fixing the flap retainer to the chassis
•
of the machine;
Remove the flap retainer;
•
Replace the worn flap with the new one;

Replace the flap retainer and fasten in place with the
•
screws removed previously.

To tension the drum brake in the electric model, follow the
procedure described in the previous paragraph.

To replace the brake cable, proceed as follows (the operation is the
same for the two models):

Remove the flap raiser bar;
Remove the fixing screws;
Replace the worn flap with the new one;
Replace the flap retainer and fasten with the screws;
Replace the flap retainer bar.
Adjusting the brake cable
Remove the side guards, using the screws;
Unscrew the tensioner lock nut;
Slacken the screw in the tensioner at the end of the
sheath.

Replacing the brake cable
Remove the cable clamp on the brake;
Remove the cable from the cable support under the
brake pedal, taking care not to lose the brake return
spring;
Grease the new cable;
Thread the cable through the support under the brake
pedal;
Insert it into the tensioner and fasten with the clamp.
