Push the belt tensioner until the required tension is
achieved;

Block the belt tensioners in place by tightening the screw.
8.4.14 Adjusting the height of the side brush
To adjust the height of the side brush, slacken the lock nut and adjust
the stop screw under the brush arm.

8.4.15 Replacing the side brush
When the side brush is worn, it can be replaced following the
procedure in paragraph "Installation" describing mounting of the side
brush.
8.4.16 Adjusting the centre brush
To work correctly, the centre brush must be in contact with the ground
for a surface area measuring 6 cm wide and the length of the brush.
To adjust the height of the brush and therefore the contact surface, the
nut and lock nut blocking the ball joint on which the centre brush
support is mounted must be slackened. This must be done equally on
both sides.

Replacing the centre brush

To replace the centre brush, follow this procedure:

Remove the debris collection bin;

Tilt the machine;
IMPORTANT – Do not tilt the machine with the
batteries mounted: disconnect and remove
the batteries.


Slacken and remove the brush drive belt;
Remove the flap on the side of the machine where the
central brush drive belt is located.
To remove the flap, block the nut inside the chassis and
unscrew the two screws blocking the flap by inserting a
cross-head screwdriver in the holes in the side panel
corresponding to the screw;

Once the flap has been removed, slacken the two screws
blocking the ball joints and remove them completely;
IMPORTANT – Take great care when performing this
operation, slackening the screws gradually and
alternately until they are completely unscrewed.

Remove the brush with the pulley and two drive wheels at
the ends;
Block the drive wheel to the brush on the pulley side using a
clamp;
