equipped with an airbag, deactivate the airbag
before fitting the child car seat. Death or serious
injury hazard.
WARNING! The points through which the seat
belt must pass for fitting the Group 0+ seat (0-
13 kg) are highlighted in LIGHT BLUE.
WARNING! Never use the reducer cushion if the
child weighs over 6 kg.
1. Fasten the child car seat to the Base (in the
rearward facing position). To carry out this
operation correctly, insert the front anchor
bar (U) into the rear hook location on the
base (G), then insert the rear anchor bar (V)
into the front hook location on the base (H)
until it is completely fastened (Fig. 9).
2. When the child car seat is properly fastened,
the indicator (E) will turn green (Fig. 10).
WARNING! Check that the child car seat is cor-
rectly fitted on the base by lifting the front and
rear sections.
3. Use the recline handle (D) to put the child
car seat in the fully reclined position. (Fig. 11).
When it is fully reclined, the indicator (C) will
be positioned on no. 4.
4. Tighten the diagonal portion of the seat belt
as much as possible, pulling it behind the
seat, then position it over the specific guide
(S), which is located on the same side as the
seat belt retractor (Fig.12).
5. To unfasten the child car seat from the Base,
pull on the safety release lever of the child
car seat while pulling on the child car seat
release handle (F) (Fig. 13).
2.3 USING THE REDUCER CUSHION (0-6 kg)
Place the baby (max. 6 kg) inside the reducer
cushion then insert the buttons ( Z) in the dedi-
cated holes (Fig. 14).
Place the shoulder straps (M) over the baby's
shoulders and fasten the buckle (O) (Fig. 15).
It is possible to remove the baby from the child
car seat while they are still inside the reducer
cushion. Simply unfasten the buckle (Fig.16)
and insert your hands in the specific pockets
(X) located behind baby's neck and under ba-
by's bottom (Fig. 17A – 17B).
2.4 INSTALLATION FOR GROUP 1 (9-18 kg)
WARNING! When used for Gr. 1 (9-18 kg), al-
ways install the child car seat in the forward
facing position.
WARNING! The points through which the seat
belt must pass for fitting the Group 1 seat (9-18
kg) are highlighted in RED (T).
1. Fasten the child car seat to the Base (in the
forward facing position). To carry out this op-
eration correctly, insert the rear anchor bar
(V) into the rear hook location on the base
(G), then insert the front anchor bar (U) into
the front hook location on the base (H) until
it is completely fastened (Fig. 18).
2. When the child car seat is properly fastened,
the indicator (E) will turn green (Fig. 19).
WARNING! Check that the child car seat is cor-
rectly fitted on the base by lifting the front and
rear sections.
3. Tighten the diagonal portion of the seat belt
as much as possible and pull it through the
specific guide (T) located on the same side
as the seat belt retractor (Fig. 20).
4. To unfasten the child car seat from the Base,
pull on the safety release lever of the child
car seat (F) while pulling on the child car seat
release handle (Fig. 21).
2.5 PLACING THE CHILD IN THE CHILD
CAR SEAT AND ADJUSTING THE SAFETY
HARNESS
WARNING! The harness straps must always be
adjusted to adapt to the child's growth phase.
To adjust the fit, proceed as illustrated:
• Press the restrain harness adjustment but-
ton (P) and, at the same time, hold the two
harnesses (N) of the child car seat below the
shoulder straps, and pull in your direction to
loosen them (Fig. 22).
• Unfasten the safety harness, pressing the red
button on the buckle (O) (Fig. 23).
• Put the tabs of the buckle into the holes lo-
cated on the side of the cover (Fig. 24A – 24B);
this facilitates placing the child in the child car
seat.
• Have the child sit inside the child car seat.
WARNING! Always ensure that the child is sit-
ting with their body flat against the backrest of
the child car seat and that the crotch strap is
positioned correctly.
• Take the belts and join the two tabs of the
19
