HYDRAULIC DIAGRAM OF SUPPLY FOR ONE OR MORE DIESEL BURNERS
WITH MAXIMUM NOMINAL VISCOSITY (5°E AT 50 °C)
The diesel fuel recovery tanks (diameter ~ 150, height ~ 400) should be installed as near as possible to
the burner and should be about 0,5 m. higher with respect to the burner's pump.

BURNER USE

Burner's operation is fully automatic; it starts up by enabling
the master and the control panel switch (1). Burner operation is
controlled by command and control devices, as described in the
chapter "Operation description". The "lock" position is a safety
position that the burner automatically assumes when a burner or
system component is not working properly. It is recommended before
starting again the burner "by releasing it" to check for faults in the
heating plant before restarting the burner. The burner may stay in
the lock position without any time limits.
To unlock, push the appropriate button (2). Lockings may be caused
by temporary faults (small quantities of water in the fuel, air in the
pipes, etc.). In these cases if it is released, the burner will start up
without any difficulties. When, however, lock-outs occur repeatedly
(3 or 4 times), do not persist in trying to unlock the burner and after
checking that there is fuel in the tank, ask for the assistance of your
local Technical Assistance Service to repair the fault.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TWO-
STAGE BURNER OPERATION
The two-stage burner always ignites at a reduced fuel and air flow
rate (1st stage) and, after a few seconds, switches to the fully
operational status (second stage) of fuel and air.
The ignition of the 2
control box and control device (pressure switch or thermostat).
When the burner works at full rate it will remain in this position
until it reaches the pressure or temperature limit pre-set on the
control device (pressure switch or thermostat). The control device
is triggered and disables the second stage (fuel and air) when when
the temperature reaches the levels to which it has been set. Then
the burner works only with the 1
Normally the 1
flame alone is not sufficient to keep the temperature
st
or the pressure at the required limit, and so it will decrease until it
reaches the limit to which the control device of the 2
switch or thermostat) re-activates the total fuel and air delivery rate.
If the burner operates only with the 1
when the pressure or the temperature reaches the tripping point set
on the control device (pressure switch or thermostat).
The burner starts up automatically again when the pressure or
temperature falls below the limit to which the pressure switch or
thermostat has been pre-set.
