The DX2.5 Brake bleeder & Fluid evacuator
is a compressed air unit that extracts brake
fl uid and air from the brake circuit. To pre-
vent damage to the brake system, always
carefully follow the vehicle manufac turer's
service and repair instructions. Do not
modify or replace any part of the unit.
Always handle brake fl uid according to local
safety regulations. Servicing of the brakes
must be performed by a qualifi ed technician.
Do not use with solvents, fuel or explosive fl uids. This could cause an explosion and result in serious injuries. Regularly verify
the operating condition of the safety relief valve.
Always monitor the brake fl uid level during the air bleeding procedure. Never reuse old brake fl uid. Discard old brake fl uid
according to local regulations. After bleeding, always check the fl uid level and the brakes according to the vehicle manufacturer's
instructions.
Never disassemble the cover and container when the DX2.5 is pressurised, i.e. when the pressure gauge indicates (+). Never use
the unit if gauge reach red area. Keep the safety relief valve in the cover clean. Make sure it is never blocked.
Care should always be taken in the handling of brake fl uid not to get any on a painted surface of a vehicle being worked on.
Damage to the paint can occur.
If changing to different type of fl uid or reusing the extracted fl uid to redispense into vehicle you must fi rst thoroughly clean
canister or switch to other known clean canister before starting the removal process.
Never store battery acid in unit. When used with battery acid, clean unit thoroughly.
• Before connecting compressed air, set the
operation handle to the neutral position.
• Connect compressed air (5.5-12 bar) and
verify that the suction/draining hose is
securely connected to the quick coupling
on the cover.
• Remove the suction lance and mount
the universal adapter on the cleaned air
bleeding screw of the brake calliper.
• Turn the operation handle to the suction
position (left) and open the air bleeding
screw.
• Allow suction to operate for 20-30 seconds
until new brake fl uid becomes visible in
the hose. Make sure air has been
removed from the system.
NOTE! Always make sure there is
brake fl uid in the brake fl uid canister.
• Close the screw and return the operation
handle to the neutral position. Repeat
the procedure for all air bleeding screws
in the order specifi ed by the vehicle
manufacturer.

• Insert the suction lance into the universal
adapter.
• Using the lance, suck up old brake fl uid
by turning the operation handle to the
suction position (left). Fill up with new
fl uid to the maximum level.
Note! The suction hose is automaticly
empted once the operation handle is
set back to neutral.
When using dispensing function
damage to vehicle can occur if
dissimilar or used fl uids are mixed
and dispensed back into vehicle.
• Drain the DX2.5 by turning the operation
handle to the draining position (right).
• Please note that fl uid can be drained via
the suction hose, but you make the
draining operation faster by using the
thicker 1 meter emptying hose.
NOTE! The lock lever must be pulled
up to enable turning of the operation
handle.

• Fill up and install the refi ller bottle (A) on
the brake fl uid reservoir in order to
automatically maintain the fl uid level
during bleeding.
• An optional extender (B) is available for
confi ned spaces.
NOTE! The refi ller bottle is an optional
accessory that must be ordered
separately.
For convenient
