WARNUNG

Fahrzeuggesamtgewicht, das

Pflegehinweise:
Halten Sie Grundträger immer sauber und
gepflegt. Besonders im Winter sollten Schmutz
und Salz regelmäßig entfernt werden um
Schäden zu vermeiden.
Umwelthinweis:
Häufig bleiben die Grundträger/Tragstäbe mit/
ohne Aufbauteile aus Bequemlichkeit auf dem
Fahrzeug, auch wenn diese nicht benötigt
werden. Der erhöhte Luftwiderstand steigert
unnötig den Kraftstoffverbrauch Ihres Fahrzeugs
und verursacht zusätzlichen Lärm. Entfernen
Sie deshalb Grundträger/Tragstäbe und alle
Aufbauteile, falls diese nicht benötigt werden.

roof load for models with a
higher vehicle identifi cation
number (VIN) is 143 lbs

Never exceed the maximum
permissible roof load which is
described in the Owners Manual.

Roof load must be included in
any calculation of the total load
that your vehicle can carry. Never
exceed the vehicle's Gross Vehicle
Weight Rating (GVWR), which is the
total weight of the vehicle, including
driver, passengers, luggage, roof
carrier and cargo, trailer hitch and
tongue weight of the loaded trailer.

Care instructions:
Keep the roof bars clean and well maintained at
all times, particularly in winter when dirt and salt
should be removed at regular intervals to help
prevent damage.
For the sake of the environment:
Often the roof bars/supporting rods with/
without attachments are left on the vehicle
for convenience, even when not needed.
The increased wind resistance unnecessarily
increases fuel consumption and generates
additional noise. Therefore, remove roof carrier
bars/carrier rods and any attachments when not
in use.

Conseils d'entretien:
Les barres de toit doivent être propres et bien
entretenues. En particulier en hiver, il faut
enlever régulièrement la saleté et le sel pour
éviter les endommagements.
Environnement:
Souvent les barres de toit restent avec/sans
équipements sur le véhicule, même lorsqu'on
n'en a pas besoin. La résistance à l'air plus
élevée augmente inutilement la consommation
de carburant du véhicule et fait du bruit en plus.
C'est pourquoi, enlever les barres de toit et
tous les équipements, si ceux-ci ne sont pas
nécessaires.
