Mount via bore holes in the bottom of the device for M6 screws or with the BT 900
mounting system (included in scope of delivery) and M5 screws.
NOTICE
Degree of protection IP 65 is achieved only if the connectors are screwed into
place or with sealing caps!

Electrical connection – Commissioning with factory settings
 Depending on the system layout, connect the BCL 900i via the MA 900 using
KB 900... interconnection cable or optionally via the MSC 900... modular scan-
ner controller.
 Apply operating voltage; the POWER LED next to the INPUT POWER M12-con-
nection must illuminate green.
 Press the MODE button (see
illuminate and then release the MODE button. The BCL 900i is now in TEST
mode. Laser and decoding are active without interruption.
 Hold the following "LEUZE" sample bar code up to the BCL 900i at a distance
of approx. 750mm and turn or tilt slightly if necessary.
Upon successful reading, the five LEDs constantly display the achieved reading
rate as a percentage (see
