Invacare®Birdie™
1. Determine if the patient has suffered any injuries from a fall. If
no medical attention is needed, proceed with the transfer.
2. Position the sling under the patient.
Refer to the sling user manual for more information
about positioning slings.
3. One assistant should have the patient bend his knees and raise
his head off of the floor.
This assistant should support the patient's head with a
pillow.

4. The other assistant should open the legs of the lift.
