Withthe snowthrowertippedforward(be certainto runthe
fueltank dry beforetippingthe unitforward),removethe frame
coverunderneaththe snowthrowerby removingthe self-tapping
screws.See Fig. 27.

Locatethe openingbetweenthe axle supportbracketand
thefront frame support(See Figure28). Lookingthroughthis
opening,with the wheeldrivecontrol released,theremustbe
clearancebetweenthefrictionwheeland the driveplatein all
positionsof the speedselector lever.

Withthe wheeldrivecontrolengaged,the frictionwheelmust
contactthedrive plate.See Figure28.
