1.
Removethebow-tieclip and flat washerfrom theferrulein order
to disconnectthe augeridler rod from the brakebracketassem-
bly. See Figure32.
NOTE:Makesurethat the locationof the ferruleon the auger
idler rod is maintained.

Blockthe impellerwith a pieceof woodto preventit fromspinning
and usea 1/2"wrenchto remove the hexscrewand flatwasher
from thecenterof the pulleyon theaugerhousing.SeeA in Fig. 35.

Lift the brakebracketassemblyout of the pulleygroove(B in
Figure35) and slide the pulleyassemblyoff the postsof the auger
pulleyadapter(C) to remove the old belt.

when removing the pulley.Use extracautionto ensurethe
adapterdoesfalland/or get damagedwhen removingthe pulley.
Placethe newauger beltin the V-grooveof the auger pulleyand
placethe pulleyw/belt insidethebelt keepers.
Turnthe pulleyas necessary to alignits threeslotsapproximately
with thepostsof thepulleyadapter, t henpivotthe brakebracket
assemblyawayfrom the pulleygroove. Whilealigningthe pulley
slotsand adapterposts, pushtheauger pulleyfully onto the
