3.5 PS programmer information
By selecting PS programmer information in the Main Menu, you can see a list of all hardware and
software versions of the PS, as well as the current version of the Operating System and of the product
lines which can be programmed.
4. SETUP
By selecting Confi gure PS programmer in the Main Menu, you have access to the basic settings of the
programmer, such as: time and date settings, language settings, the management of the series to be
programmed, the management of peripheral connections and battery-saving functions.
4.1. Battery Saving
To extend the life of the batteries, you can set the length of time the screen and the programmer remain
on. In the Main Menu, choose Confi gure PS programmer and, in this menu, select Battery Saving. Using
the numeric keypad, in the Automatic Switch-off window enter the number of minutes you wish the
programmer to remain on while inactive (i.e. without any key being pressed or any action performed).
Similarly, in the Switch Off Display fi eld enter the length of time during which the screen will remain active
before switching off automatically. When you have entered these values, validate them by pressing OK.
