4.2. Setting the Date and Time
To set the current date and time from the main menu, open Confi gure PS programmer and select the
option Set date and time. Using the numeric keypad, enter the appropriate date and time. UTC shows
your time zone, which by default is set to +1. If you have turned on the programmer for the fi rst time, or
if you have not used it for a considerable period of time, the system will ask you to update it by entering
the date and time.
4.3. Series Management
The PS-011 programmer makes it possible to program different types of modules. ALCAD modules are
distributed in series, depending on the family of products to which they belong. To keep them up to date
and to manage them more easily, series can be added and deleted in accordance with the requirements
of individual clients. (For more details, see PROGRAMMING OF DEVICES)
4.4. Language
4.4.1. Selecting a Language
To change the language used by the programmer, in the Main Menu choose Confi gure PS
programmer, then choose the option Select language. The PS-011 comes with three languages
pre-installed: English, Français and Español. These languages are in the internal memory of the
programmer. Note that, by default, the fi rst time that the programmer is turned on, set-up takes
place in English.
4.4.2. Loading Other Languages
You have the possibility of loading other languages that are not installed on the programmer. To
do this, select the option Load language. The programmer will automatically search for dictionary
fi les (with the extension .qm) in the USB and SD memories. When these are found, they will be
displayed on the screen. Use the cursors to choose a language, then confi rm your selection with
OK; the language chosen will appear in the list of available languages.
