Intended Use
Your detail sander D26430 has been designed for quick sanding
of wood, metal and plastics in a professional environment.
DO nOt use under wet conditions or in the presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
These sanders are professional power tools.
DO nOt let children come into contact with the tool.
Supervision is required when inexperienced operators use
this tool.

Young children and the infirm. This appliance is not
intended for use by young children or infirm persons
without supervision.

This product is not intended for use by persons (including
children) suffering from diminished physical, sensory or
mental abilities; lack of experience, knowledge or skills
unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn tool off and disconnect tool from power
source before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. Be sure the
trigger switch is in the OFF position. An accidental start-up
can cause injury.
Fitting Sanding Sheets (Fig. B)
The tool uses hook and loop sanding sheets.

4. Press the sheet firmly onto the sanding pad.
Rotating the Sanding Pad (Fig. A)
The sanding pad is adjustable in 60° increments.
1. Hold the tool upside down.

3. At the same time, rotate the sanding pad in the
desired direction.
4. Release the sanding pad.
5. Move the sanding pad back and forth slightly untile it
engages in position.

Mounting the Louvre Attachment (Fig. C)
Fitted with sanding sheets on both sides, the louvre attachment
is used to sand crevices. The louvre attachment is available as
an option.
1. Place the tool on a table, sanding pad

5. Locate the louvre attachment
position and cannot be turned.

Setting the Electronic Speed Control Dial

The speed is infinitely variable from 14000–22000 min

1. Turn the electronic speed control dial to the required level.
The correct setting, however, is a matter of experience.
2. Generally, harder materials require a higher setting.
Dust Extraction (Fig. E–G)
WARNING: Since woodworking with a sander produces
dust, always install a dustbag designed in compliance
with the applicable directives regarding dust emission.
WARNING: Do not use a dustbag or vacuum extractor
without proper spark protection when sanding metal.
