A DC−bus connection has to be planned and dimensioned taking the technical data into
account.
How to arrange the devices via the DC busbars for operation in the DC−bus connection:
Arrange the devices in a row from left to right.

Install the supplying device on the left:
ƒ
– DC power supply module (in a first row),
– DC input module (in the following rows).
Install the multi drive axis controllers to the right from the highest to the lowest
ƒ
power (recommendation).
For increasing the braking power also single drive axis controllers can be integrated.
ƒ
For this purpose these axis controllers have to be equipped with the optional busbar
mounting set (E94AZJAxxx).
Protective measures for the cables leading to an E94AZEX100 input module must be
dimensioned for a rated current of 100 A. If smaller cable cross−sections are used, the
fusing has to be adapted according to the applicable standards or technical rules. More
information can be found in the chapter "DC−bus operation" of the Hardware Manual.
