In an easily-accessible place in the vicinity of the right-hand rear fog lamp, cut the car-side lead
(coloured orange), marked with the plus sign (+ 12V) and remove about 5 mm of the insulation
from both of the cut ends
Connect the grey/white and red/yellow leads in the same order (as before with the plus sign lead to
the left-hand rear fog lamp) to the car-side lead plus sign (+ 12V) to the right-hand rear fog lamp.
Connect the flat piggyback connector supplied to the remaining lead (lead coloured pink-grey),
which leads to the right-hand rear fog lamp (minus sign when rear fog lights are switched on)
by folding it together.
Connect the flat plug of the black/yellow lead of the 4-core wiring set into the flat piggyback
connector just fitted.
Lay the remaining grey and grey/white leads of the 4-core wiring set alongside the car-side wiring
loom, through a rubber grommet in the tailgate and on to the right-hand-side of the luggage
compartment (use a suitable tool as a draw-through if necessary).
Remove about 5 mm of the insulation from the loose ends of the grey and grey/white leads,
trimming off any excess length of the wires.
Crimp the spade connector supplied to the end of the grey lead and plug into the spade socket
housing supplied.
Crimp the flat plug supplied onto the end of the grey/white lead and plug into the flat plug housing
supplied.
Connect the housings of the grey and grey/white leads of the 4-core wiring set with the matching
parts of the same colour of the grey and grey/white leads of the 8-core wiring set, and snap them
into place.
