• When you remove the thermos from this appliance, a non drip valve
will automatically operate and prevent to drops of coffee dripping onto
the hotplate (No. 5). When the coffeepot is replaced on the hotplate,
the non drip valve automatically opens and allows any remaining
coffee to flow into the thermos. Wait until the brewing process is
finished and the filter is empty.
• Switch off the device when it is ready.
• By using the thermos the coffee stays hot longer and the taste will be
guaranteed. Keep the device turned on and place the thermos back
on the hotplate. Press the button on the lid of the thermos to pour the
coffee. Unscrew the lid of the thermos counterclockwise to remove it.

CleANING THe DeVICe

• Remove the detachable filter out and empty it into the bin. Rinse the
removable filter and the thermos after use with hot water. Remove the
other filter regularly and rinse it with warm water. These parts are not
suitable for the dishwasher. Decalcifying the coffee machine prolongs
it's life span. For decalcification only use products especially made for
decalcification of coffee machines. Always rinse the device with water
after decalcification.
• The outside surface of the coffee maker should be cleaned with a
damp cloth.
GUARANTee
• The device supplied by our Company is covered by 24 month
guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).
• During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories
to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge
by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services
do not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give
rise to any right to a new guarantee!
• Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without
proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
• If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the
entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with
the receipt.
• Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of
the whole machine. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken
glass or breakage of plastic parts are always subject to a charge.
• Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing , as well as
cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered
by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!
• The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
• After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the
competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing
costs.
