Service shop maintenance, spare parts and warranty
Maintenance and repairs: The maintenance and repair of modern machines and their safety equipment requires
professional training and a workshop equipped with special tools and test equipment.
The manufacturer therefore recommends that all work not detailed in these operating instructions should be car-
ried out only by professional workshops. Trained mechanics have the correct training, experience and equipment to
make the most cost-effective solution available to you and can offer you every practical advice relating to your
machine.
Spare parts: The reliable operation and safety of your machine depends on the quality of spare parts used. Only use
original spare parts. Only original spare parts are made together with production machines and therefore guaran-
tee optimum quality of materials, dimensional accuracy, function and safety. Your local specialist will supply you
with original spare parts and accessories. Such dealers will also have the necessary spare parts lists to determine
required spare part numbers, and will be constantly updated about product improvements and new parts, as they
become available. Please also note that the use of non-original parts voids any warranty.
Warranty: The manufacturer warrants perfect quality and will undertake any remedial work or replacement of
faulty parts at his expense, should the equipment suffer any material or manufacturing defect which occurs within
the warranty period. Please note that specific warranty terms apply in some countries. If in doubt, check with your
retailer. The retailer of the product is responsible for the warranty.
We ask you to accept, that losses due to the following causes fall outside our warranty:
Contravening the operating instructions. Missing essential maintenance and cleaning work. Losses as a result
of incorrect carburettor adjustment. Wear as a result of normal use. Obvious overloading through sustained
exceeding of the upper output limit. Use of unauthorised tools/accessories. Application of force, incorrect treat-
ment, misuse or accident. Damage as a result of overheating due to contamination of the fan housing. Interven-
tion by untrained individuals or incorrect attempts at repair. Use of unsuitable materials or non-original parts, if
these have been responsible for the loss. Use of unsuitable or superimposed consumables. Losses caused by the
conditions of use in a rental business.
Cleaning, care and adjustments are not recognised warranty work. All warranty work must be carried out by a
specialist authorised by the manufacturer.
