Regular Inspections

_ Condition of the hoses and drain pipes
▷ Keep the door gasket and the stopping surface
on the door clean. Ensure not to damage the
sealing lips.
9.1.3

Weekly Maintenance

NOTE:
Danger of damaging the machine!
▷ Do not use compressed air, ultrasonic or a
steam jet for the cleaning!
Prior to maintenance
Before maintaining the spindle and the C/L noz-
zles, the spindle sealing air must be activated:
▷ Briefly press service button [B].
The current tool is placed down and the spindle
returns to the service position. The spindle is
released; the motor is blocked.
▷ Open the door of the Ceramill Motion 2.
▷ Press service button [B] on the Ceramill
Motion 2.
The sealing air is activated. The service button
lights up.
After the maintenance
When the Maintenance is completed:
▷ Shut the door of the Ceramill Motion 2.
▷ Briefly press operation button [A].
The tool is picked up again. The spindle travels
back to the starting position or to the position,
where the program was interrupted.

Spindle
The provided Jäger spindle service set and a mill-
ing tool of your choice are required for mainte-
nance of the spindle.

In order to clean the spindle:
▷ Remove any dust from the cap, the C/L lines and
the spindle, using a dry, soft cloth. Do not use
cleaning agents!
To remove the collet:
▷ Apply the black spindle wrench [5] over the col-
let.

▷ Insert a milling tool into the open collet.
