Refer to lancing device' s Instructions for Use for more detailed instructions on using the lancing device.
1. Select area to be lanced. Wash with
soap and warm water, rinse, and dry
thoroughly.
From Fingertip
2. Place end of lancing device equipped
with lancet against fingertip. Lance
fingertip.
Caution!
Use ONLY capillary whole blood from the
fingertip for testing. DO NOT use venous blood or
capillary whole blood obtained from alternative
site for testing.

3. Set lancing device aside. To help blood
drop form, lower hand to waist level and
gently massage from palm to fingertip.
Allow blood drop to form before
attempting to apply to the test strip.
4. After testing, recap and remove used
lancet from lancing device. Discard
used lancet.
Caution!
The used lancet may be biohazardous.
Please discard it carefully according to your
Doctor or Heathcare Professional's instruc-
tions.
