lists all available accessories for the DIGI-STALTIC. SPECIFICATIONS lists pertinent characteristics of the DIGI-STALTIC.
APPENDIX A — BALANCE CONNECTION provides pinout and signal information for connecting a balance to the
dispenser. APPENDIX B — PC CONNECTION AND SOFTWARE INSTALLATION provides details to connect the DIGI-
STALTIC to a personal computer.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The DIGI-STALTIC control console provides the interface for the operator for programming and control of the dispensing
system. The microprocessor in the control console scans the keypad, communicates to the display, and communicates
with the attached pump drives through a serial interface. One of the pump drives supplies power to the control console.
Programmed information is stored in an EEPROM. Each program contains specific parameters for controlling the pump
drives. Up to 30 programs in any combination of pump, dispense, and dilute can be stored at one time.

CONTROLS, INDICATORS, AND CONNECTORS

All the controls, connectors, and indicators on the control console are shown in Figure 2. All connectors are located on
the back panel. Figure 3 illustrates a pump drive, showing the power switch and display on the front, and the connectors
on the back. Table 2 lists all the operator controls and indicators.

80-character, two-line LCD that displays all menus needed for programming and operating the system.
Use to select menu items shown on the second line of the display.
Use for numeric entry.
Takes user to previous menu line in menu structure. Acts as a backspace key during numeric input.
Changes speed or volume of pump during operation.
Use to confirm data entry or to continue during programming.
Use to stop currently selected pump immediately and to clear entry during programming.
Immediately stops all pumps.
Changes the pump that is currently operated by the controller.
