Cleaning and Maintenance
• For best operation, be sure to follow these cleaning
and maintenance recommendations every time the
PC8-PRECISION is used.
• After each use always wash the PC8-PRECISION
as directed below.
• Never use bleach or chlorine products as these could
permanently damage the stainless steel.
• Do not use steel wool.
To clean the pot of the PC8-PRECISION
• Clean it with a scouring pad and dishwashing liquid.
• If the inside of the stainless steel cooker shows iridescent
reflections, or white spots left by hard water, clean with
a solution of equal parts water and vinegar. Leave for
10 minutes. Rinse and dry completely.
• You can wash the PC8-PRECISION pot in the
dishwasher.
• Clean it with a sponge and dishwashing liquid.
• For
tough
staining
PC8-PRECISION use a special stainless steel
polisher and cleanser.
• Wash the basket in warm water with a little
dishwashing liquid.
To clean the PC8-PRECISION lid
• Remove the Smart Timer
• Clean the lid with a sponge and dishwashing liquid.
• You can wash the lid in the dishwasher after first
removing the Smart Timer
gasket.
• To clean the steam release valve: remove the control
panel and clean the lid under running water. Visually
check that the operating valve outlet is not blocked by
holding it up to the light.
• If you accidentally remove the base of the automatic
air removal system, refit it by pressing and turning it
simultaneously.
