• Add your ingredients and the liquid.
• Close the PC8-PRECISION.
• Move the selector to one of the programs as shown
in your recipe book.
• Program the Smart Timer
shown for your recipe.
• Place the PC8-PRECISION on a heat source set to
full power.

pay close attention to it,
especially when using
PC8-PRECISION near

Finishing cooking
• At the end of the cooking time at low pressure,
the third acoustic signal emitted by the timer
indicates that cooking has ended.
• Check that the pressure indicator (D) has
dropped back down.
• Raise the Open/Close handle to the vertical
position to open the lid.

PC8-PRECISION steam cooking with pressure
starts and the Smart Timer
• At the end of the pressure cooking stage, on the
second acoustic signal, the timer tells you to switch
off the heat and set the cooking program selector
to PRESSURE RELEASE.
• A jet of hot steam, and possibly droplets of water,
escapes from the steam outlet (A) in a vertical
direction.
The soft cooking phase starts (this time is ready
programmed).
• If you accidentally open your PC8-PRECISION
during the soft cooking phase, close it back up
immediately, and this will have no effect on
cooking.
• Never remove the Smart Timer
pressure cooking or soft pressure cooking phases.
