BEACON (OPTION)
The be con is self-cont ined unit with repl ce ble fl shtube.
Flashtube eplacement
P rk roller on level ground. Remove key from keyswitch. Remove lens by unscrewing from
be con, pull worn fl shtube up to remove. Plug in new fl shtube nd repl ce lens.
High voltages exist in electronic beacon lights. Before attempting service on any
beacon light, be sure to disconnect the power for at least five minutes to allow the
capacitor to discharge. Failure to heed this warning may result in electrical shock and/
or personal injury or equipment failure.
NOTE: Most beacon failures can be traced to wiring and battery problems. Before
attempting any service on the circuit itself, please be sure to check all connections and
wiring to ensure the correct voltage and/or polarity is reaching your beacon.
LIGHT (OPTION)
The lights re self-cont ined unit with repl ce ble h logen bulbs.
Bulb eplacement
P rk roller on level ground. Remove key from keyswitch, pull rubber boot from the b ck of
light, remove screw nd repl ce worn bulb.
NOTE: Most light failures can be traced to wiring and battery problems. Before
attempting any service on the circuit itself, please be sure to check all connections and
wiring to ensure the correct voltage and/or polarity is reaching your light.
Aligning Lights
1.

2. Loosen the h rdw re so the light m y be djusted.
3.
Aim lights so the center of light be m is bout 4 inches off the ground.

Tighten h rdw re so the light position is secure.
TORAGE
Store the roller on level ground with drums blocked.
Remove the key. Oper tion of roller by untr ined persons could result in person l
injury.
In freezing clim tes, dr in the w ter from the w ter t nk, sprinkler tubes nd
drums.
During extended stor ge, drums should be co ted with ny type of oil or gre se to
prevent rusting.
