Do not use solvent-based lubricants as these could
damage the tire. Never use flammable liquids for
lubricating or positioning the tire bead.
7. Re-attach the plastic cover as shown in Fig. 9.

4.2.2 Positioning of vertical mast
1. Use a knife to remove the safety cords holding the
mounting head in position on the clamping plate.

2. Place one hand on the cover (at the top end of the
mast) and press downwards.
Risk of injury due to spring tension
On account of the spring tension the vertical
mast may suddenly jump out of its seat and
injure the operator.

Remove hand slowly and cautiously.
3. With the other hand, use a knife to remove the adhe-
sive strip and take out the iron bar (A) between the
arm and the mounting head.
4. Slowly move the hand off the cover of the mast.
