The appliance
insufficiently
dehumidifies
the air.
Water flows onto
the floor.
Frost appear on
the coils.
Possible cause
The dehumidifier is not connected to the
power outlet.
Power outage.
The water tank is incorrectly installed or
removed.
Water tank is overfilled.
The set humidity level has been reached.
The appliance had too little time to reduce
humidity in the room.
The set humidity level is insufficient.
Airflow is limited.
Doors and windows were not tightly closed.
A dirty air filter.
The room temperature is too low.
Other appliance, for example tumble dryer
blows humid air into the room.
When draining the condensate using the
water tank, a drain tube is connected.
Drain tube connection is not tight.
This is normal.
Solution
Check whether the power cord plug is
properly connected to a wall outlet.
The appliance will start when the power is
restored. In this case, a safety device delays
the start of the dehumidifier for three
minutes, in order to protect the compressor
against overloading.
Carefully install the water tank.
In this case, the appliance is turned off
automatically. Empty the water tank and
install it correctly.
In this case, the appliance is turned off
automatically. Change the set humidity
level to lower if needed.
Allow sufficient time for the appliance to
dehumidify the room to the required level.
On first use, the appliance must operate
continuously for at least 24 hours, in order
to obtain the desired level of air humidity.
In order to achieve better air dehumidification
results, set a lower humidity level in
percent (%) or select a continuous mode
that provides maximum dehumidification
performance.
Remove the curtains, furniture or other items
obstructing the air inlet or outlet grilles.
Close all doors, windows and other
openings in the room.
Clean the air filter.
Operating temperature range: 5-35°C.
Place the dehumidifier away from the
appliances the blow humid air in.
Disconnect the condensate drain tube and
insert the plug into the drain opening.
Check the drain tube connection to the
drain opening for leaks.
