3 GENERAL FEATURES
The SFE-EV controller is a Siata dedicated controller designed for softening application. It regroups the
following main programmable features:
Regeneration mode: Time clock, volume (immediate or delayed), or external signal start, depends how
the controller is programmed
Integrated brine valve
Variable brining option
Control a chlorine cell (only with chlorine cell control board version)
Salt sensor control
Salt alarm feature
2 programable relay outputs (control solenoid etc)
IP index 40
50 or 60 Hz
Varistor included, to protect against voltage surges
Auto-reset feature: If the processor detects a fault in the control logic for any reason, an appropriate
circuit triggers a general reset of the controller, reloading the default programming values
SFE-EV is available in 2 versions: standard or chlorine cell control. Software is the same for both, so there
are no differences in programming. Hardware is different, the chlorine cell control version is equipped with 2
extra relays and specific transformer. SFE EV controller also features a diagnostic menu where you can consult
the service data of the installation. SFE EV controller offers 2 levels of programming, 1 simplified and designed
for the end user, 1 advanced menu with all the option and parameter available, designed for OEM and installers.
