Alternatively, the instrument can run on standard AA batteries independent from
the power network. The battery compartment is on the bottom side of the instru-
ment. Pay attention to the pre-defined polarity when inserting the batteries (+/-).

5.2 Interface

The instrument can be connected to a computer using either a serial or USB
connection.
