POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Meat contains excessive
amounts of fat
• Cooking temperature is
too high
• Grease build-up
• Too much build-up on
grease drip tray and/or
grease cup
CORRECTIVE ACTION
• Trim the appropriate amount of fat
before cooking
• Lower the temperature as needed
• Clean the smoker, according to
the instructions
• Turn off the smoker and open the door to
allow the fire to burn out.
DO NOT use water to extinguish the
fire. Personal injury my result.
Allow the smoker to completely cool
before cleaning the tray and cup.
