4. Disassemble the return pulley cover and guide for the pulling cable.

5. Loosen the cable protection tube.

6. Remove the pin fastening the pulling cable to the step.
WARNING
Danger of hands, feet and head being crushed. After removing the pin, the step is not fastened,
and could therefore move and cause damage. Make sure that the step is properly immobilised
before removing the fastening pin.
