2. Check t hatyouhave allofyourtools.
3. Dispose of/recycle allpackaging materials. Keep theplastic
foam foruseifLaundry Center should betransported.
4. Check L aundry Center's final l ocation. Besure vent i snot
crushed o rkinked.
5. Check t hatLaundry Center islevel a nd frontleveling feetare
tight. S ee "Level Laundry Center."
6. Forpower supply cord installation, plug intoanoutlet. For
direct w ire installation, turnonpower.
7. Check t hatthewater f aucets a reon.
8. Check f orleaks a round f aucets a nd inlet h oses.
9. Remove filmontheconsole a ndanytape remaining on
Laundry Center.
10.Read "Washer Use" a nd"Dryer Use."
11.Wipe dryer d rum interior thoroughly withadamp cloth to
remove anydust.
12.Totest t hewasher, measure 1/2thenormal recommended
amount ofdetergent andpour i tinto thewasher. Close t helid.
Select HEAVY DUTY andpull o uttheCYCLE C ONTROL
knob. A llow thewasher tocomplete one whole cycle.
13.Totest t hedryer, setthedryer o nafullheat c ycle (not a nair
cycle) for20minutes andstart t hedryer.
If thedryerwillnotstart,check thefollowing:
• Controls are setinarunning o r"On" position.
• PUSH TOSTART DRYER button hasbeen firmly pushed.
• Laundry Center isplugged i ntoanoutlet a nd/or electrical
supply ison.
• Household fuse isintact a nd tight, o rcircuit b reaker has
nottripped.
• Dryer doorisclosed.
14.When thedryer h asbeen running f or5 minutes, open the
dryer d oor a ndfeel f orheat. I fyoufeel h eat, cancel cycle
andclose thedoor.
If youdonotfeelheat, t urnthedryeroffandcheckthe
following:

There may be 2 household fuses or circuit breakers for
the dryer. Check that both fuses are intact and tight, or
that both circuit breakers have not tripped. If there is still
no heat, contact a qualified technician.
NOTE: You may notice an odor when dryer is first heated. This
odor is common when the heating element is first used. The
odor will go away.
