At the beginning of distillation open the water feed valve (11) just enough to replace the
evaporated water. Any excess water is conducted off through the overflow tube (10) into the
catch tank (13).
Caution: To avoid wasting water, open the water feed valve during distillation
and close it again after distillation.

23. Vacuum and cooling water connection

The cooling coils of the cooler may only be exposed to a maximum cooling
water pressure of 2 bar. So that higher pressure can never develop, no valve
and no restrictor may be installed in the cooling water return.
The necessary vacuum and cooling water hoses are attached to the cooler using the hose
couplings (15) and screw caps (16). It is mandatory to secure the cooling water hoses (17)
with hose clamps (18)!
