Safety instructions

The appliance conforms to all relevant technical standards and safety
regulations. To prevent injury and accidents, it must be operated
properly and safely. Therefore always adhere to the instructions in
this installation and operating

Proper use

■ The appliance is designed for the preparation of food in a domestic
environment. BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH shall not be liable for damage
resulting from improper use or incorrect operation of the appliance.
■ All repairs, and in particular repairs to powered components, must be carried
out by suitably trained technicians. It is forbidden to make any modifications to
the appliance or to attempt to repair it using tools (screwdrivers, etc.).
Improper repairs can result in serious injury and damage to the appliance or
other property. In the event of a fault or malfunction that requires a repair, read
chapter «Repair
■ Do not use the grill to heat the room.
■ This appliance is not suitable or approved for installation in vehicles.
■ Do not place sealed cans or other containers on the Teppanyaki plate, as they
could explode when heated, causing injury and damage.
■ Keep this manual for future reference. When handing the appliance to a new
owner, always include this manual. This enables the new owner to familiarise
himself/herself with the appliance and to use it safely and efficiently.
■ As the user of the appliance, it is your responsibility to operate it properly and
keep it in good working order.

Safety for children

■ Packaging material (e.g. foils, polystyrene) can be hazardous to children. Risk
of suffocation! Keep packaging away from children.
■ The appliance is designed for use by adults who have read this manual.
Children are often unable to appreciate the hazards that can occur in
connection with the operation of electrical appliances. Children using the
appliance must be supervised at all times. Do not allow children to play with
the grill.
■ The surfaces of cooking appliances and grills become hot during operation.
Keep small children away from the grill.
■ To protect small children, you can install a child safety guard.
