Fluid dripping or leaking from

C USE
Cup loose on gun.
Cup gasket worn or missing below cup.
Cup threads dirty.
Too much material flow.
Material too thin.
Gun tilted on an angle, or gun
motion too slow.
Gun too far from surface.
Too much air pressure.
Improper thinner being used.
Gun too close to surface.
ir pressure too low.
Improper thinner being used.
Material not properly mixed.
Surface rough, oily, dirty.
irvalve seat damaged or not installed
properly, or dirty.
irvalve spindle damaged or dirty.
Rear airvalve seal damaged or not
installed properly, or dirty.

CORRECTION
Tighten.
Replace cup gasket.
Clean.
djust gun or reduce fluid flow.
Mix properly or apply light coats.
Hold gun at right angle to work and
adapt to proper gun technique.
Check distance. Normally approx. 8".
Reduce air pressure and check spray pattern.
Follow paint manufacturer's mixing instrs.

First remove needle adjusting screw and fluid
needle spring. Trigger gun and feel behind
fluid needle to see if air is coming out rear of
gun. If air is felt, rear airvalve seal is leaking.
If air is not felt, front airvalve seal is leaking.
Replace or clean as necessary. lso check to
make sure airvalve spring is installed
correctly.
Replace or clean as necessary.
