4. Changing consumables (paper/pens)
4.1 Changing paper
The recorder operates using either roll or Z-fold paper. Both paper forms can be
used in one combination cassette. The paper is changed as follows:
4.1.1 Roll chart paper
Open the recorder front door.
Remove the cassette by holding the grip strip on the Plexiglas paper guide
then pulling outwards and lifting the cassette out of the recorder.
Tilt paper guide and tear off strip forwards.
Remove paper wind up spindle with paper forwards.
Hold the paper wind up spindle by the side discs, undo the internal bayonet
fixing by turning the side discs in opposite directions and pulling them apart.
Hold the chart paper by inserting your finger into the space left by the right hand
wind up spindle section and gripping the remainder. Now remove the other half
of the paper from the spindle by twisting it clockwise.
