Preparation
• Before calibrating note the switch positions.
• Plug in the jumper to the voltage position.
• Remove the input signals and connect the reference
source to the input terminals.
• Pull the chassis out of the casing.
• Set the paper feedrate to 3600 mm/h when
calibrating a strip chart recorder. When calibrating a
dotting recorder set the "Dotting frequency" to
calibration (position 9). This automatically sets the
unit to the highest chart speed and max. dot
sequence.
0 ... 10 Volt calibration.
• Set the unit measurement range to 0 ... 10 Volt.
• Calibrate Zero:
• Set the reference source to 0.00 Volt.
• Using a screwdriver turn the "Zero potentiometer"
until the connected channel plots or prints on the
Zero line.
• Calibrate full scale deflection:
• Set the reference source to 10.00 Volt.
• Using a screwdriver turn the "full scale
potentiometer" until the connected channel plots or
prints on the 100% line.
Hint: Repeat all steps twice to make sure there has
been no drift.
• Reconnect the input signals.
• Reset all switches, chart speed and damping to their
original settings.
