11. TROUBLESHOOTING

Before calling service personnel, please check the following chart for a possible cause to the trouble you are
experiencing.

Remote control does not operate

The remote does not always work
There is no sound while picture quality is OK
Dark, poor or no picture (screen lit) but good

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Make sure the screens power switch (located on the back) is set to "l"
Replace the batteries
Check the orientation of the batteries
Make sure the IR signal is not being blocked, or sent the wrong way
Batteries might be weak. Replace them.
During USB device detection (when turning the screen on, or when plugging new USB
devices in), the screen does not react to IR signals. Please wit a few seconds in these cases.
Check if the source has audio in it
Check if the screen is not muted. Un-mute by pressing the mute button again
Select a proper picture mode.
Adjust the brightness in the video setting.
Test another source
Ensure the power plug is installed correctly on both ends
Check the main power switch is set to "—"
Check that source equipment is operating correctly
Check the input signal is compatible with this display
Check the LED light
The image is not locked correctly Check the input signal is compatible with this display
Adjust the color saturation in the video setting.
If a setting option appears in gray, this indicates that the settings option is unavailable in
current input mode. Some display menu items may be different when the unit works in
different sources.
Switch off the screen with the AC switch on the back of the screen, and remove the
power cord. Wait for 10 secnds and reconnect
Change the energy settings/sleeping-mode of the external device or PC.
Fog formation happens because of temperature differences and should disappear when
the screen has been switched on for several hours.
Ensure the USB cable is installed correctly on both ends
