3. If the master valve circuit is used, connect either valve wire to the MV terminal
and the remaining wire to either common (C) terminal.
Note: During operation, the the control module's master valve is active only
when a station assigned to the master valve is operating.
Power Connection - Indoor Models
North American Models
1. Route the transformer cable through
the small opening provided in the
base of the controller cabinet.
2. Place a knot at approximately 12"
(30.5cm) from the end of the cable
to serve as the cable restraint.
3. Connect the red wire to 24V, black
wire to COM and the green wire to
ground
.
European Models
Note: A Class C power cord and strain
relief are supplied with the European
indoor controller models. The power
cord installs to an internal terminal
block as illustrated below.
1. Remove the transformer compart-
ment cover secured by two phillips
screws.
2. Referring to the illustration, install the
power cord strain relief and tighten
securely using appropriate hand tools.
3. Carefully remove 26mm (1") of outer
cord sheathing to increase wire
exposure.
4. Insert the power cord through the
strain relief and into the cabinet.
5. Connect power cord wires to the
terminal block as follows:
brown wire to L, blue wire to N and
green wire to ground
6. Tighten the bottom strain relief nut
using an appropriate hand tool. Pull
on cord lightly to confirm security.
