2. If an equalizer will be included: Slide the aftermarket equalizer into the back of the Radio housing. Using the hardware included with the equalizer, mount the equalizer to the kit. (Figure B) If an equalizer will NOT be included: Snap the equalizer dummy plate onto the radio housing. (Figure C) (Figure A) (Figure C) 3. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the radio for proper operation. 4. Mount the rear support bracket to the back of the radio. 5. Mount the radio with kit assembly to the sub-dash with (4) Phillips oval-head screws supplied (make sure that the rear support bracket engages the support shelf in the dash). (Figure D) 6.
