Dash Disassembly

1. Using Metra's 86-5618
or AW-FDRT, pull the
factory radio from the
dash and disconnect
the wiring. (Figure A)
2. Locate the Rounded
Faceplate (A) or the
Cornered Faceplate
(Figure A)

Continue to kit assembly

DIN radio provision:
1. Remove the metal DIN cage from your
aftermarket radio.
2. Slide the cage through the desired faceplate
and then into the radio opening of the
vehicle. Then bend the metal locking tabs
down to secure the cage in place. (Figure A)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness in the
dash. Metra recommends using the proper
mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS.
Reconnect the negative battery terminal and
test the radio for proper operation.
4. Slide the aftermarket radio into the mounted
cage until secure.

5. Reassemble dash in reverse order
of disassembly.
