Connecting the Compressed Air Cylinder
The cylinder retaining strap is fixed in the slots H.

USING THE COMPRESSED AIR BREATHING APPARATUS
(1) Release the retaining clamp of the cylinder strap
and use the safety knobs to raise to the vertical
position.
(2) Loosen tension strap to correspond to the cylinder
size to be used.
(3) Check gasket on pressure reducer and cylinder
valve for proper condition.
(4) Push the compressed air cylinder into the cylinder
retainer.
(5) Screw cylinder valve onto pressure reducer, if
necessary, bring the compressed air breathing
apparatus with valve up into a vertical position.
When tightening the fitting, the last 1 ½
turns activate the vibration lock.
(6) Turn the clamp into the horizontal clamping
position.
(7) Tension the cylinder retaining strap by pulling the
loose end.
Only tension the cylinder retaining strap
when the clamp is in the tensioning
position, since otherwise it may not be
possible to turn it over completely.
(8) Lay the compressed air breathing apparatus down
flat and hinge the clamp downwards until it clicks
in position.
(9) Fasten end of the cylinder retaining strap onto
Velcro strip.
(10) Check the secure location of the cylinder. If
required, correct the setting of the cylinder
retaining strap.
(11) Briefly open cylinder valve and check for escaping
air, retighten if necessary.
