Before setting Oven Controls
This range has a fan that will turn "On" and "OFF" by itself to keep the electronics cool. it may
continue to run after the range has been turned "OFF", but may also stop immediately and then turn "On"
after a while.
Arranging Oven Racks
ALWAYS ARRANGE OVEN RACKS WHEN THE OVEN IS COOL (PRIOR TO OPERATING THE OVEN). Always use
oven mitts when the oven is hot.
The oven vent is located in the center rear on the cooktop. When
the oven is on, warm air passes through the vent. This venting is
necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking
results. DO NOT BLOCK OVEN VENT.
Never close off the openings with aluminum foil or any other material.
Air Circulation in the Oven
For best air circulation and baking results allow 2-4 inches (5-10 cm)
around the cookware for proper air circulation and be sure pans and
cookware do not touch each other, the oven door, sides or back of the
oven cavity. The hot air must circulate around the pans and cookware for
even heating.
