Introduction

Thank you for buying the EasyClean™ 200 e sensor clean-
ing system from METTLER TOLEDO. The EasyClean 200 e is
designed for the automatic rinsing and cleaning of pH, ORP,
dissolved oxygen, dissolved CO
sensors in retractable housings. The EasyClean 200 e is
supplied with a predefined rinsing and cleaning process.
Both the rinsing and cleaning times can be adjusted by the
operator to suit requirements.
Please read through this quick setup guide and the instruc-
tion manual carefully before commissioning, in order to
ensure trouble-free use. Operating and maintenance should
be carried out only by trained personnel and staff who have
read and understood the operating instructions.

Notice: Before every start-up, the cleaning system must be
checked for:
– Damage to the connections, fastenings, etc.
– Leakage
– Perfect functioning
– A uthorization for use in conjunction with other plant equip-
ment and resources.

Notice: The manufacturer / s upplier accepts no responsibility
for any damage caused by unauthorized attachments or for
the incorporation of spare parts which are not of METTLER
TOLEDO provenance. The risk is borne entirely by the opera-
tor.

Caution: Before the cleaning system is put into operation,
the operator must have already clarified that its use in con-
junction with the other associated equipment and resources
is fully authorized.

Caution: A defective cleaning system may neither be in-
stalled nor put into operation. Faulty containment or instal-
lation out of conformance with regulations and instructions
can lead to the escape of medium or to pressure surges
(explosion), potentially harmful both to persons and to the
environment.

Caution: Some components inside the cleaning system are
energized with voltages which can cause lethal shocks in
case of contact. The instrument needs to be switched to zero
potential before any operation on the wiring terminal.

Warning: Before dismantling the cleaning system or com-
mencing any maintenance work on it, ensure that the equip-
ment in which the cleaning system is installed is in a safe
condition (pressurize, no explosion risk, empty, rinse, vent,
etc.).
