The bottom of the autoclave packaging has two gripping points.
The short movement operation of the device must be carried out by two people; the
gripping points to lift the autoclave (handles) are located on the top of the device (18
Fig. 2). For prolonged movement of the device you must insert the pallet supplied
under the device.
- Take the autoclave out of its packaging.
- Position the autoclave on a surface (table or unit) using the specific handles to help you.
- Remove the handles and insert the cover plugs. Keep the handles and the relevant screws
for future movement.
- Open the door, turning knob 2 in an anti-clockwise direction (Fig. 1) and remove the
accessories supplied from the chamber.
Check the supply includes:
- Documentation (user manual)
- The tray support
- 3 trays
- 1 tray extraction pincers
- 1 filling tube
- 1 discharge tube
- 1 funnel
- 4 plugs
For versions equipped with C.F.:
- Memory card inserted in dedicated slot
- USB memory card reader for PC
- CD for reading and printing data from memory card.
Use a level to check the support base is level in the two directions, otherwise level the
autoclave using the front adjustment feet.
Check the power supply socket is earthed.
Check the power supply voltage corresponds to that on the autoclave plate.
Insert the autoclave plug while paying attention that the wire is not crushed and that the
power supply plug is easily removed.
If the water is not filled from external canisters, the autoclave MUST NOT BE
CONNECTED directly to the water mains, but to a demineralizer that permits the
required water characteristics to be obtained (see page 58). The demineralizer must
prevent the backflow of water to the mains.
