Initial start-up

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock.
Work with electric equipment is to be carried out by a qualified electrician.
To start the unit:
1.
Start the fan unit and ensure that the impeller direction of rotation is
correct. Refer to the rotation sticker on the fan motor. If the impeller
rotation is incorrect, switch any two phases with each other.
2.
Ensure that the filter cartridges are not damaged.
3.
Loosen the lower hose to the pressure gauge on the unit, see Figure 3,
item 1.
4.
Turn the damper handle until the pressure gauge shows 950 Pa.
5.
Refit the hose.
6.2

Operation

When the unit has been in operation for some time, open the damper, if
required.
NOTE!
We recommend the use of ear protection if the unit is used without
silencer and without any duct connected to the outlet.
Keep the area around the filter clean and immediately remove any oil spill/oil
film on the floor.

Maintenance

WARNING!
Risk of personal injuries.
Use the necessary personal safety equipment when servicing the unit,
especially when cleaning or replacing the filter cartridges.
WARNING!
Risk of personal injuries.
Do not stand in front of the filter outlet.
If the damper is fully open and the air flow through the filter is still too low, it
is necessary to clean and/or replace the filters. The main filter is to be cleaned
when the pressure gauge, see Figure 3, item 1, is displaying 1,200 Pa. If the
pressure gauge is still displaying 1,200 Pa when the main filter has been
cleaned, the HEPA filter, see Figure 3, item 6, is to be replaced.
