TROUBLESHOOTING

CONDITION
Unit will not
power on
CONDITION
Fan is not working Unit is not switched on
CONDITION
Fan speed does
not automatically
adjust when the
unit is in Auto
Mode.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Front Panel is not installed correctly
Power plug is not properly
inserted into the electrical outlet
Power plug or cord is damaged
GFCI outlet was triggered
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Plastic packaging on filters was not
removed
Motor requires servicing
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Manual Mode is selected
Air Sensor is dirty
Air Sensor sensitivity is inadequate
for the air quality in the room
Air Sensor is broken or is
malfunctioning
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Remove the Front Panel and
reattach it onto the unit again
Unplug the unit and plug it back
into the electrical outlet
Contact the Brondell Service Center
at 888-542-3355
Press the reset button in the GFCI
outlet
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Ensure the unit is properly plugged
into the outlet. Press the Power
button.
Remove the plastic packaging and
put the filters back in
Contact the Brondell Service Center
at 888-542-3355
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Press the Mode Indicator Button
until "Auto" is illuminated
Follow the steps on Page 14 to clean
the Air Sensor
Follow the steps on Page 15 to set a
different Seasonal Allergy Setting:
If the Air Quality indicator is Blue,
use a higher sensitivity
If the Air Quality Indicator is
Purple or Red, use a lower
sensitivity
