    The Sender and Receiver are secured to the slots of the column by means of a swivel mounting bracket. The sender and receiver columns are installed opposite each other and aligned parallel. To keep the Plexiglas front screen of the device column mist-free it is fitted with a heater, which also maintains the photoelectric safety switch at its operating temperature.     The heater operates at 230 V AC. The power plug may be live. Be- WARNING fore unplugging the power plug always disconnect the column and the overall system from the power. 2. Raise the front screen (with heater) about 20 cm, pull the connector out of its holder, unplug the connector, then withdraw the front screen fully. 3.     Clean the interior of the device column as described in section 5: Dismantling for Maintenance/Repair. Note The heater and the M4000 or M2000 are splash-proof to IP 65. Do not use steam jets, high-pressure cleaners or the like for cleaning. Blow in compressed air from above to clean spiders' webs and the like from the gap between the column and the front screen. Note If the front screen of the device column has become iced-up after a shutdown, remove the ice layer using a spirit-based de-icer spray.
